Heart Shadows

No one doubts that Chaz is a devoted husband and father, or that he is beginning to resent his job as an FBI Special Agent.     I loved this final chapter between Chaz and Stephanie. In this book, we find Chaz having to make a major decision. Will it be family or will it be his career. Another case is putting pressure on Stephanie to be super wife. She loves her job but she loves her family. Being a mom is a great joy for her, but she wants Chaz by her side. Chaz is drawn into a position he hates. His big Boss has an agenda but its not the one Chaz has.
    This sequel brings Vanessa and Steve back and discovering new things about each. I hope they get their own sequel, because they are hot. Will Chaz and Stephanie make the right choices for their marriage?

    I loved Heart Shadows! I was so sad that this was the final book of this series. I would have loved to see so much more of Chaz and Stephanie. The trials and stresses that they are continually facing and yet they remain so strong as a couple with their love for each other. Thanks for a great series Brynette!!
